French elan meets with Greek approval
Citroën's stylish range of cars is appealing to a growing number of Greeks. Since 1971, Citroën Hellas has been turning Citroën, its dynamic French brand, into gold in Greece. As the flagship of the Syngelidis Group, which is active in everything from automobiles to building and construction, this company is now reaping the rewards of its heavy investment in its image and customer satisfaction.
Citroën's automobiles have easily adapted to Greek market conditions. The country's road network, more uneven and mountainous than the rest of Europe, has made the sophisticated and technologically advanced Citroën suspension system especially popular. Greeks, with a keen eye for trends and fashion, have also shown a strong interest in the Syngelidis group's latest models. No wonder two of the best-selling cars in Greece today are Citroën models, C3 and Berlingo. Citroën's third place rank in Greece among European brands is also due to a particularly efficient sales and support organisation. It has 65 dealerships throughout the entire country, from urban and rural areas to the remote islands of the Aegean.
This integrated, uniform network offers customers new and used cars, financing, insurance packages, and spare parts. The latter sector has seen significant growth in recent years, and Citroën now ranks third in the spare parts sector as well.

The company continues to build on its success by investing strongly in effective promotional campaigns, tied to its commitment to launch one new model every six months.
"Having happy customers is our priority," sums up Nikos Diamantis, commercial manager of Citroën Hellas.
